Implementation

MHR Technologies is not just about technology. Before we integrate our School-Pass™ product into school environments, we'll assess your dismissal challenges and opportunities.  We spend the time understanding your school-specific needs because every school is different and unique.  Our implementation has three phases:

• Phase I   -  Arrival and dismissal assessment

• Phase II  -  Process redesign & product implementation

• Phase III -  Technical support and enhancement  

Phase I - Dismissal Assessment 

We start a working relationship with the school by conducting a two-day assessment of your current dismissal process. We analyze the school's property, carpool and bus lanes, traffic flow patterns, building exits, dismissal location placement, and more. We also spend time interviewing parents, staff and faculty – getting their inputs on the current process, and discussing alternatives.

The Dismissal Assessment Report forms the basis to design and plan the School-Pass™ implementation (Phase II).  Our process improvement methodology takes the school’s current (“as is”) processes, it’s property configuration, student procedures, and parent/staff/faculty processes and designs and implements a new ("to be") dismissal operations model for the school. 

The Dismissal Assessment fee is $1,250 plus travel. This fee will however be waived if the school implements the School-Pass™ product.  Our deliverable to the school is an actionable Dismissal Assessment Report that will have an immediate impact on the school's safety and dismissal operations.

Phase II - Process Design & Product Implementation

The implementation of our product is easy and does not require any special software, hardware, or expertise from the school.  Schools will not need to acquire new hardware or upgrade existing systems.

School-Pass™ is a turn-key solution, all you need is a LAN-connected computer (PC or Mac with a standard Internet browser) in classrooms or dismissal locations. The School-Pass Server is simply plugged into your network, and you're ready to access the system from any computer on your network.  

The implementation can take as little as 7-10 working days to complete.  MHR Technologies will be responsible for implementation and support.  Assistance will be required from the school's IT/Network administrator and facilities manager.  Our typical implementation plan for School-Pass is as follows:

Phase III - Technical support and enhancement 

We provide timely and reliable assistance to our clients.  We provide the necessary technical support for schools to maintain high levels of security to students and parents.  Software maintenance releases and product enhancements allow schools to stay current with our ongoing research and development efforts.  Further dismissal and security improvements are identified and analyzed so that schools can keep pace with new opportunities and risks.
