Carpool Dismissal Automation

The Carpool Dismissal Automation module will automatically identify (and authenticate) parents/drivers as they arrive in the carpool line (eliminating manual identification). Schools now know when parents arrived (and left) their property.

Verified parents/drivers, whether in a single or multi-family carpool, are associated to their students and scheduled for dismissal in their classrooms or designated dismissal locations. Dismissal changes are dynamically taken into account before the Real-time Dismissal Schedule (RDS) is updated in the classrooms or dismissal locations.

• Improved classroom environment Noise levels (no walkie-talkie or PA system shouting) and frantic dismissal instructions are reduced/eliminated in classrooms. Students are asked to leave for carpool line based on the time calculated by the RDS, giving them advanced notice of the time they have to pack-up and get to the front door. The location of the classroom and the age of the student is also taken into account when RDS calculates the parent/child ETA in the pickup area.
